About Me:
My name is Monody and I go by he/him pronouns, but call me whatever you want, I don't care!
It always saddened me that in the past decade or two the internet has been reduced to a central few social sites all designed extract every last ounce of engagement from every user, before they move onto the next site in a viscious cycle. Recently I found out about the "indie-web" or "small-web" or any other of the hundreds of names for it and decided to carve out a little corner for myself in this nostalgic place.
In my physical life I mainly make music, and work in the live music industry both in a band and as a stagehand and AV technician. This site is going to be mainly a hodgepodge of things I've made, or things I find interesting. Probably music reviews and reccomendations in the audio tab along with my own solo music, visual art (including movies and tv) I enjoy and/or reccomend in the visual tab, and both my writing, and the writing of others that I enjoy and reccomend in the writing tab. Links will probably end up being a list of peoples sites I like on here and other similar platforms.
